Annisa is a Communications Officer at WRI Indonesia, specializing in the Food, Land, and Water portfolio with a focus on the Nature-based Solutions sub-cluster. Her responsibilities include executing communication strategies, overseeing diverse communication channels such as websites and social media, and providing support for program implementations.

Annisa has been working with WRI Indonesia since 2021, and her time there has provided her with extensive experience across various issues. Initially involved in the Sustainable Food System subcluster, she actively supported Koalisi Sistem Pangan Lestari (formerly FOLU Coalition Indonesia). Additionally, she gained valuable insights into the Cities portfolio through projects like Cities4Forests and Low Emission Zone. Annisa also has hands-on experience collaborating with regional WRI offices across Indonesia, particularly on issues concerning indigenous people and gender equity.

With a degree in Urban and Regional Planning from Universitas Gadjah Mada, Annisa's career has been driven by her passion for environmental and sustainability matters, particularly in the realm of green and low-carbon cities. This passion has led her through various roles, including working with organizations like United Cities and Local Governments Asia-Pacific (UCLG ASPAC) and Yayasan Plan International Indonesia.

During her leisure time, Annisa finds happiness in watching movies and cherishing moments with her rescued cats.
